Bob Karlin
Karlins' Korner
Oddly Enuf. Bob's singing quartet's name describes the man perfectly. Bob Karlin is not your typical computer consultant. Yes, his knowledge is in depth, his acumen for detail is inspiring and his focus on users and their technology is his creed. But it is Bob's love to deeply dive into projects and hobbies that makes him unique. We all love to sing, dance and read but how many of us are members of a performing quartet (see oddlyenuf.com), Israeli dance a couple times a week and have a personal library of over 15,000 books? It is this intensity that when applied to computers and technology makes his clients happy they have chosen Karlins’ Korner.
Bob has been working with computers since 1972 and has been in the computer consulting business, with his wife Beth, as Karlins' Korner for over 30 years. Their clients have ranged from 20th Century Fox, MGM, First Interstate Bank, Rockadyne, and many others in entertainment, insurance, security, manufacturing, general accounting, security, and auditability from large corporate environments to small businesses and even individuals. So if you have a computer or technology question or need give Bob a call and if he can't help he will help steer you to the solution. His business success is based on a simple strategy - understanding the users and their needs and make systems that work for them.
Bob has been coming to LAJCC events for 3 years and has just renewed his membership. He has 2 adult children, a daughter 28 living in Maryland as a research consultant and a son 26 who is graduating law school and looking for a career in entertainment law and intellectual property.
